God; My Bodyguard
I was born as a son of Salvation Army officers. All children get to know their parents naturally. No one studies or doubts how he/she became a child of the parents. It is just that the parents love the children, and the children love their parents. The relationship between God and I is like that. I grew up and lived in God. As I naturally got to know my parents and God, I decided to be an officer. Ever since I was two years old I was walking towards this dream to come true.
There were no significant ups and downs on the graph of my life. Some people are proud of the dramatic moment they had for overcoming hard times. However, it is also safe and better to prevent occurrence of those happenings. Psalms 121:3 says, “He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber” In my life, there was no case of threatening illness to suffer my life, nor serious worries on money. As I live in God, He, who even does not fall asleep, keeps me on a safe path.
If I work alone, I cannot be successful. That is why I do not worry whatever I do, as I know God gives me the ability and strength. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” I believe that God will walk with me through all the ways ahead. Isaiah 43:1B says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” I am His, and my life in Him is the most peaceful and safest one.
